I have finally finished my tessellation blocks. Mind you, I still have to applique some of them to the background, but the piecing is done! It took me quite some time as I usually only sew by hand during our quilt group meetings. Here are my last four blocks:

Now I'm in the process of sewing 144 hourglass blocks for the sashing.
Lots of small blocks
and lots of cutting
Not quite finished yet, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Die Blöcke sind aber schön, und dann noch alle gelieselt. Von diesem Tessalation habe ich noch nicht gelesen.

I am in love with your tessellation blocks. They must have taken ages to hand stitch and your colour combinations and careful cutting make them look incredible.
I also saw the post on the houses and downloaded the pattern but haven't actually made the block yet. The Japanese fabric is a good choice. The textures in the fabric will give it a lovely added depth.
You tessalation blocks are awesome! You did a great job. I'm always in love with tessalations quilts but alway have trouble to combine colors so they pop out well.

Great are the fifth number is a luxury. Otherwise we say light in the tunnel.
