My quilts are back!

Last week I picked up my quilts I had sent to the Philippines (through a local quilt shop)  to be hand quilted.

Both quilts are heavily quilted and I'm pleased how they turned out. I would never have the patience not the stamina for something like this. Because both quilts were hand or English paper pieced I felt they deserved to be hand quilted.

I'm happy to have two tops done but there are still about eight more waiting in line! Oh well, a quilters work is never done!
Cheers
Vreni xx

Your Camelot quilt is so beautiful and beautifully hand quilted! I have cut all the fabrics to add a border to my Camelot quilt, but when I look at yours, I doubt if I won’t just finish it of with a binding!

Wonderful you can have your beautiful quilts hand quilted. These quilters know how to do it well! Wished I could use them too!

Vreni both your quilts are beautiful. It's wonderful to see your Camelot quilt finished. It was definitely worth all the time you put into making the blocks. I really love the hexagon quilt too.
It was wonderful to meet you last week, I really enjoyed our lunch.

The quilts look great and a real asset to have the opportunity to send them away for hand quilting. Now they are able to be put to good use and enjoyed.

They're gorgeous Vreni! I'm SO happy that you chose to have them hand quilted -- it just kills me to see so many beautifully hand-pieced quilts being machine quilted! My long-time hand quilter is getting up there in age (almost 80) so I'm a little worried about how I'll get The Aunts' Quilt quilted -- I need to retire so that I can find some time!

They both look lovely Vreni. I'm sure you will be happy with them. That's 2 less items on your WIP list.

Wow Vreni - the quilts are gorgeous, and how lovely to have them hand quilted. It makes them so much softer.
