I forgot to show you the finished silk quilt my friend Jeanette made. Sorry, the photo is terrible, but you can still see how beautiful it turned out. Now I have to get my skates on and finish mine as well!
What a stunning quilt Jeanette made. I really love the look of silks but have never used them myself. I really like your hexagon quilt from your previous post. Using foil is such a good idea. I made a baby quilt using hexagons for the flowers for one of my granddaughters. They are a lot of work but so beautiful when done. Keep up the good work.
Oh my!! I just love it! I have a little bit of a silk stash and this would be a great one to make. Did you back the silk with a lightweight interfacing?
