By the skin of my teeth....

....did I make the deadline for this round of  "Another Little Quilt Swap" which is tomorrow! This time the quilts are quite literally "little" as they are not bigger than the size of a A4 paper. Mine turned out to be 8.5 by 11.5 inches.

.
I used Japanese fabrics and raw edge appliquéd it and then quilted it by machine. I added some flowers and small beads.

Let's see where this little quilt is going to live.

Happy Quilting

My life got crazy, so I wasn't able to finish mine this time around. I am very sorry about that, now that I have seen your beauty! It is absolutely beautiful!

That is a real pretty tree ,you are so creative the little flowers just a perfect touch, and adding beads is a great idea for jazzing it up that will be so pretty on your wall I have never made a small wall hanging quilt art piece that I think would be just perfect for me,xoxo theodora

It's really sweet. Hard to get a perspective on it. I would love to see it next to an everyday object. Its fun to make things in tiny size.

Hallo Vreni,
sehr schöne Farbkombi. Die rosa Blüten sind das i-Tüpfelchen. Obwohl ich ja eigendlich nicht der Herz-Fan bin: dieser MiniQuilt ist super schön.

Vreni, it is exquisite! Those flowers must be very tiny. Love the quilting and the beads add so much.

In one word... BEAUTIFUL Vreni! You have got your steam back, that's for sure!
I specialy love the Japanese fabric, colours. The one who's receiving this one, must have her lucky day.
Look at the beautiful flowers(http://www.tokyo-dome.co.jp/e/quilt/) and we missed it :(.
Shall we plan to go again next year...
