After initially playing up, the machine behaved itself after changing the thread, the needle, the tension several times!
Now that baby can arrive!
This month's bee blocks have already been sent and also received.
It's the first time I've made granny squares and I really enjoyed it. There might be a granny square quilt in my future!
I also did a bit more crafting and sewing for the charity bazaar in November.
Of course I'm hoping that we'll be able to sell lots, but whatever doesn't, will be "recycled" as Christmas presents. So either way, everything will be useful, one way or other.
Enjoy the weekend and the Olympics!
Cheers

What a great quilt you made! Do you make these boxes yourself? Wonderful, I think you will sell a lot of them, they are so cute!
How are you making your Granny Square blocks? Yours look different than mine. Will you fit those edges into other small pieces, or square up the block to sew to another? I love your box and coaster set. Well, all your boxes are beautiful. I am sure they will sell well.
Love the quilt and fantastic job on the FMQ! Love the fabrics used for the granny squares too. Lovely boxes and great handicrafts you've got there, Vreni - I'm sure they'll sell out quite quickly...

Hallo Vreni,
das Baby ist zu beneiden. Solch ein schöner Start-ins-Leben-Quilt!
Und ich bin überzeugt, dass nicht viele von deinen schönen Sachen übrig bleibt, um als Geschenke "recycled" zu werden!
Viel Erfolg beim Verkauf!
Happy Weekend :o) Doris

I do love your boxes Vreni and I also love the colours of the granny squares. Can't wait to see that one develop. Lucky baby too.
Your quilt came out really cute! I love the extra stuff you made. Did you use a tutorial for that coaster holder box? I'd love to see it... Thanks for sharing!
Wow, you've got so much done and it's all beautiful!

I've been eyeing those grannies for a while. I think they are fabulous and am also feeling a quilt made with them coming on. Great gifts for the bazaar. Think the coasters with the box are very cool.
You are working 24/7!! Beautiful quilt, boxes and table runners. The NCA will be delighted with your products.

Your boxes are so beautiful! I also love the granny squares and think I may have to make a quilt like that "someday" also. I'm sure you'll sell lots of stuff at the bazaar. We are enjoying the Olympics too. Wish we could see more of the smaller nations during the competitions tho and not just the results each day.
You do such lovely work. I think those grannies might be a bit addictive from reading in blogland.
Your boxes always make me sigh, they are so beautiful.
