I have, everything but the Christmas tree. I'm waiting with that until just before Christmas as with our climate, it won't last very long. And we don't want just the skeleton of a tree at Christmas, do we? But since I like a a few little lights I always decorate my corkscrew hazel branches.
with the pottery angels underneath
as well as my Scandinavian winter village
but my favorite is this little nativity scene by the same artist who made my angels above
and the back of it.
I decorated this fresh pine wreath and the fragrance is wonderful.
There was even time for a bit of crafting. I made this little Christmas gnome for the quilt group gift exchange today.
With all that done, the baking finished, the gifts bought or made and wrapped as well as the cards and packages sent I can sit back and relax. Other than entertaining guests, I'm planning to start this quilt "Scandinavian Christmas by Lynette Anderson". Bliss!
I hope you are also taking some time out to enjoy this special time.

What beautiful decorations Vreni, I especially love your ceramic nativity, and Lynette's quilt is beautiful, you will have fun making that! xo
Your Christmas decorations are beautiful. I just can't get motivated this year. I've put up the small Christmas tree, at least that's a start.
Love Lynette's quilt, I agree, it will be fun to make.
Everything looks so nice. I am soooo jealous that you are actually all ready for Christmas. I seem to get to this point every year, take stock of what I've done and how much more I have to do, and then get a little frustrated that I can't think of anything for some people. The year I started in January was the best year ever. You'd think I would remember that and start earlier and make more homemade gifts to give. Love the Scandinavian quilt too.
Your decorations look lovely. I especially like the nativity and the fresh pine candle. So pretty! It looks like you are tackling a big embroidery and quilting project. Have fun with it. Merry Christmas!
Your decoration looks fabulous Vreni You did a wonderful job on it! It is time to relax and enjoy the fruit of your work! Merry Christmas to you!
Love your Christmas decorations, particularly the nativity. Have a lovely Christmas.
It all looks so pretty Vreni -- I love those branches. And a new project -- how fun. Can't wait to follow your progress!
I love your beautiful Christmas decorations! Thank you for sharing.
Liebe Gruesse Vreni x
