How far will you go? Quilt Along

My friend Jess (and her friend Jess) organised a QAL called "How far will you go?". The idea was that one didn't have to go the whole way but it was up to us to decide "how far we wanted to go" (hence the name).

I didn't get terrible far, I'm afraid! I only managed to make four out of the eighteen blocks on offer (or four and a half, to be precise)

You are now probably wondering what on earth it is supposed to be!

It's a  cover for my Bernina 820. I've been planning to make one since I got it nearly three years ago, but I just never got around to it. This machine is quite a bit bigger than my other machines, so the cover I made before didn't fit. Now I just have to remember to cover my machine when I'm not using it so it won't get so dusty anymore.
There are even prizes up for grabs, sponsored by the Fat Quarter Shop.
As today is the dead line to enter and to have a chance to win one of those gift certificates,  I have linked up here!
Happy Weekend everyone!

Looks great but I was distracted by those beautiful Asian inspired wall hangings in the background. They are exquisite!

Beautiful peeks of your wall hangings, by the way! =)

What a great use for the blocks. Really love the fabrics. I usually just throw something over my machine to keep the dust off. This is so much lovelier!

I only made 4 blocks, too. I just got a machine cover in our guilds Christmas exchange. Still trying to figure out what to do with those blocks.

Hallo Vreni,
die Nähmaschinenhaube ist mit den Blöckchen super geworden. Das ist eine gute Idee, Restblöcke zu verarbeiten.
Viele Grüße
Leonore
