looking back, looking forward

 Projects finished in 2010
Not very impressive compared to what other people have achieved, but then I've moved house twice this year, had 15 house guests staying, and and and....I'll think of another excuse in a minute ;).

Works in progress
I hope to finish these in 2011! I just need to sit less in front of the computer and more at the sewing machine! It's as easy as that. Maybe that should be my New Year's resolution, but I have actually given up making them a long time ago, as they don't work for me.

A very Happy New Year to all of you with hopefully lots of time to be creative.
All best wishes
Vreni

You have been busy this year!
I am coming to the realization that I should be sewing rather than using my valuable time looking at endless blogs....not including yours Vreni....but I really do need to weed my list!

You are a hardworking lady for sure! It is just like that: spending less time behind the computer gives us all more time to create... but hey, it is great to be in contact with each other this way!!! XXX

Hallo Vreni,
es gibt ja auch noch ein leben außer patchwork und Quiling, oder? Mach dir selbst kein schlechtes Gewissen!

How fun to see what you have completed, Vreni. I think the tree in your top left photo in your finishes is one of the first things I fell in love with on your blog! It will be fun to watch your 'finishes' in 2011. Hugs and Love - Vickie

That looks pretty impressive to me! And it's more than I've achieved and I haven't even moved. Happy New Year Vreni!

Well I'm impressed. You did lots of work and it all looks awesome!
You did a great job and you did loads more than I in 2010.

From you work in progress I love the hexagons and ofcourse the Josephs Coat Quilt Along Quilt, because I'm making the same quilt and I have almost finished the top. Mine is not so big, just crib size. What size will your quilt be?

Big hugs
Maksi

I can't believe I missed this post! You've accomplished a lot. But....I feel like the journey is the most important part anyway. I find it soothing, relaxing, invigerating, exciting just to be in my sewing room and creating something. If I actually finish the project it is the frosting on the cake, I'll bet your creative times are the best times.

What I love about your work is that you are able to master so many different types of textile crafts. Well done for a very productive year and good luck for an even better 2011.
