Nepal and India

Hi, I'm back from what has been a short, but interesting trip. I loved Nepal; the people are very friendly and I even got to see a gimps of the Himalayas. Unfortunately they were mostly hiding behind clouds. Luckily I was able to see Mount Everest from the airplane. Between you and me, it doesn't look much different from our Matterhorn!

Entrance to the old city of Bhaktapur, which is situated in the Kathmandu Valley. It is listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, wood, metal and stone artwork.

Beautiful countryside on the way to Nagarkot

As there is a big community of Tibetan refuges their influence is visible everywhere.

From Nepal we flew to Bombay for a few days. Here's a picture of the "Gate to India" taken from our hotel window.  We stayed at the Taj Mahal, the hotel with was attacked four years ago by terrorist. As it happened, my husband was staying at that hotel on that day, but luckily checked out a few hours before the attack. The hotel with its wonderful history has been totally renovated and is back to its former glory.

On a little tour around town we saw the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly known as Victoria Station) which was another scene of the shooting on that fateful day!

Markets

Dhoby Ghaut, which means washing place in Hindi, where thousands and thousands of pieces of laundry are washed and dried everyday, and all by hand!

The Tiffin wallahs, another Bombay institution. Around 200'000 tiffins (lunch boxes) are picked up every day from their respective homes, delivered to the owners at their offices and then later in the afternoon picked up again and brought back home. Apparently with absolutely no mistakes or lost boxes. Supply chain at its finest!

And lastly the Mahatma Gandhi museum

And now it's back with the nose to the grindstone. I can't believe how fast Christmas is approaching. I'm not yet in the right mood; are you?

I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Thank you for sharing your amazing pictures of Nepal and India! So beautiful. So interesting. I have never been there.
I can't imagine how they can deliver all the laundry and lunch boxes to their correct owners.

The rise of internet marketing

1)Blogging:When it comes to internet marketing, blogging is a very powerful tool that you need to master to perfection.Creating a blog on your favourite niche or products that you are trying to sell Cheap Nike Air Jordan will allow you to link to your customers, giving them free advice, free samples, and free help, all readily available for them to use.Whatever you are trying to sell or promote, having a blog on your site will give your customers a feeling of a community behind it and they will be more inclined to buy a product or a service from you even if it costs a few more pounds.
2)Internet marketing means promoting your website in the most possible ways that you can think of, think outside of the box to turn your business in to a proper brand.Advertise for free by placing a sticker on your car, if you use the pubblic transport why don't you put a sticker on your rucksack or shoes or maybe print your company's logo on a few t-Shirts and distribute them. There are loads of advertising method that costs little or not money and have the potential to expose your brand to millions of people.
3)When you are building an internet marketing business you shouldn't loose sight of the long term plan of action.Rome wasn't build in a day and this is true for every single business created online and offline. You must recognize that investing time and a certain amount of money is a must if you want your business to grow to another level.
4)At first internet marketing might seem just abot selling a product or a service, but this is just one aspect of the business. The content that you are giving your visitors is equally if not more important.Pre seling as they say, giving your visitors something that they can use.Lets say that you are selling electric guitars, why don't you offer a free e-Book on how to get people started on electric guitar playing. If you know how to play electric guitar well it will not take you a long time to Jordans Shoes Online write your book.It does not have to be huge, it can be but ten pages will probably be enough to add quality to your site and enhance your customer experience when they are surfing it.
